what makes an action scene

action scenes in book are generally very rare and most of the time not very good. what makes a good action scene in a book requires a lot of thinkgs. one it that it needs to be long. anyscene thats just a few pages is no fun. by the time you start getting into it, its over. another thing it need to have speed. it has to be a page turner. for me that means it has to no be too detailed. it has to have the perfect amount of detail. if there is too much detail you loose the speed and intensity. but not enough then you miss out on the epic explosions/ blood/ or you just cant follow whats going on. its best when they are in 3rd person becaue you want to be able to see everything thats going on. also there shouldnt be any talking sections other than screaming or quick comments. otherwise you get distracted in the conversations. its best when they are not to complicated with multiple battle/scenes going on at once.
